"Fun for the whole family"

Three generations were together for a Disney trip. We stayed in an inexpensive hotel not far from Disneyland. The Pirates Dinner Adventure happened to be across the street. We found tickets on Groupon and worked it into our schedule. The action was engaging, the actors were skilled, the story was fun for each of us and the dinner was specialized to please children as well as adults. I highly recommend adding this to your must-do list.

"Father’s Day night "

We enjoyed Father’s Day with several families here together. It was perfect for a low key outing. We arrived early and you should as it gets crowded and the place is not very big. They have the typical pre show stuff and some average appetizers for munching. The show was entertaining and lasted about an hour and half. It was better then I expected and not as cheesy as I was expecting. It had some nice singing and acrobatics. You don’t come to place like this for the food but it could do some more attention, it was mediocre at best. I thought medieval times food was a little better. All and all pretty good evening and would come back once a year.

"My Very Good review is for the show, not the food or the service."

The show was very entertaining. We upgraded to the front seats which was like a bench seat for up to 5 people. I wouldn't recommend the upgrade. For 15 extra bucks you are guaranteed in the 1st 2 rows which comes with a "bandana"--It was basically a narrow piece of thin fabric that you tie around your forehead like the karate kid. , and a strand of dollar tree beads. Let me forewarn you....The bench seat feels like you are forced to lean forward like you are almost wanting to stand. It's not comfortable at all. You can see pretty much from anywhere in the arena, so don't let them sell you on the "comfy" bench seat up front. I did like that the kids food is simple stuff like chicken nuggets and Mac n cheese. The basic dinner plate for adults was a small piece of chicken on the bone, mashed potatoes, steamed veggies and a skewer with shrimp and more veggies like bell pepper etc. I like the mashed potatoes the best. The chicken was good but it was just so small....maybe a few bites unless you like gnawing on the bone to get all the meat off. My shrimp on the skewer was cold and didn't have much flavor at all. Pretty much you pay for the show. It was funny and well put together. The waitress we had was not very attentive. We usually go to Medieval times and thought we would try this place. I think the show is better at pirates, but the food and service is better at Medieval times. My 7 yr old was more entertained at the Pirates one. I brought ear protection for him because it does get loud in there with cannons shooting and stuff. Definitely find a deal on Groupon and I think at that discounted price, the show is worth it. It's fun to try once. Oh...and if you get there early, they pass out fun appetizers for free in the lobby area.

"Fun for everyone - Fun for all ages"

From beginning to end - it was an AMAZING experience! They have plenty of parking upon arrival. Delicious complimentary appetizers before the show in the waiting (pre-show) room, which is next to the bar (a plus, plus for a mom in need of a relaxing fun time). The pre-show is so entertaining and gets your kids excited for the rest of the main show. Main show is entertaining, so funny (that your boring 11 year old daughter can't stop laughing, which makes your heart so happy to see her having a great time), definitely better than circus circus in Vegas. It is interactive and kept my 11, 10, 7 and 2 year old entertained and attentive throughout the entire show. My 2 year old even agreed to take picture with our pirate after the show. We all get to meet the cast after the show and can take pictures with them. It was a perfect family evening.
