"Good location and spacious"

Stayed here for 4 nights in the 2 Queen bed suite. Our flight arrived at 6am and we were grateful that we were able to check in around 10am. The lady at reception on 10 Dec morning was friendly , helpful and always with a smile. Location is great to get to metro station and universal studio free shuttle bus stop. It's about 5-6 mins walk. There is a Ralph's supermarket not too far away but I have to say there are not many restaurants within walking distance. We have been catching the metro to Hollywood Highland or to Universal studio walk for dinner. Room is spacious and comfortable. A few points to note though; - housekeeping is not the best - we had one bar of soap for our 4 nights stays and shampoo and conditioner were not replenished one day - the rollaway bed we had for our son continues to make squeeky noise at night whenever he turns - we only had 2 bath towels one day when it's very obvious that we have 3 people in the room (with paid additional rollaway bed) - free drink at happy hour but only on beer or wine... would not offer soda which should cost the hotel less - reception staff never greet guests and avoid eye contacts (other than the lady working on morning of 10 Dec 18). They seems to be busy chatting with each other all the time

Didn't stay long but it was a beautiful hotel. Kindly upgraded to a big suite with living room large patio but got a wall view :( You have to pay for parking which I didn't know. Parking was available on the street and free until 8am.

" Awesome location"

We only had one day in LA but was so happy with the location of this hotel. The walk of fame is a 10 min walk, where the hop on hop off tours start as well. The parking there isn’t a problem, but it will cost you $28 for 24 hours. When you want to do a tour of Universal Studio you can also use their hotel situated close to Universal for parking as it seems parking is always an issue in LA. The rooms are comfortable and clean with everything that you need. Happy to recommend this hotel.

"Perfect for Universal Studios"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

We were looking for a nice hotel near Universal Studios and this was a great option for us. The staff was very friendly, the room was nice, and the hotel was walking distance to the Universal shuttle. We had three small children with us and it worked out great for us. On site parking was convenient. They do double park you when the parking lot gets full, but they require the double parked car to leave keys with reception so they can get your car out at anytime no problem. Great little hotel!

"Ants and crappy customer service"
TripAdvisor user rating 1 out of 5
Reviewed December 01, 2018 NEW
We stayed at this hotel due the location. My twin 12 year old daughters and a friend attended a bat mitzvah. Each came back with a container filled with specialty candy and cookies. Look at the pictures—we woke up to ants everywhere—they invaded the closed candy container. I sent pictures to the front desk, was told no manager on site but I would get a call the next day—two weeks and three phone calls later not a single response. Oh, during my last call the person I spoke to said well the manager has probably been busy due to the thanksgiving holiday! WHAT? This happened before thanksgiving and it seems to be that no one cares!!! My kids are so upset and waking up to ants everywhere is disgusting!! Would never stay here again!!! Worst customer service ever!! Shame on you!
