"Quick Trip to Disneyland with Grandma..."

I was very impressed with the cleanliness of this hotel. Not to mention, it is such a close walk to the park! That is a selling point for me. We have a toddler and we like to take a break from the park, this hotel is a hop, skip, jump away from Disneyland. It makes it very easy to take that quick rest and then get back to the fun! We love the pool, and the STAFF here is very friendly and helpful! We will be staying here again... Thank you Grand Legacy!

"Great location"

Very close to the main gate of Disneyland. Hadn't stayed here since it was The Saga. Stayed in a tower room and it was nice. Fridge was really tall for a small fridge. Coffee maker was having issues (dripping instead of flowing so took about 6 loud cycles for a full cup) but we were only there 1 night so no time to remedy the issue for us. Hopefully it got fixed for the next guest. Would stay here again.

"Okay, but rusty bathroom "
TripAdvisor user rating 2 out of 5

My room was a second floor, 2 queen beds room. The bedding was nice and it had handy facilities like a fridge and a microwave. It had however an ancient, outdated atmosphere. The hotel location is, obviously, its best asset. But two major disappointments; - the breakfast consists of a grab n go bag with a cereal bar, an apple, some string cheese and water. Not bad, just, not clear upon reservation. - the bathroom is poorly maintained. The shower head and the drains of the sink are covered in rust. The shower pipe kind of comes out of the wall. To be fair, I did not complain to the reception, surely they would have addressed the issue. Also, our room keys would scarcely work. The staff replaced it every time we needed though.

Wanted to stay close to the park with restaurant options and convenience store close by. Absolutely loved the proximity to Disneyland and the quick walk to get there! Will definitely stay here again. Especially if I can get a similar rate to the one I got when I booked and paid early on their website. It was a 40% off special. Couldn't beat the price anywhere. It's an older hotel, but the rooms were clean and updated. The pool area was very nice. We appreciated the snack bag they give you in the morning. It carried us through until lunch (but then we're not big eaters). I wish the parking was free, but if you sign up on their email, there are specials they send you periodically - right now I noticed the parking fee is waived if you stay three consecutive nights. If you're ok to stay in a motel-type room and can take advantage of one of their special pricing online, I would definitely recommend the Grand Legacy!

"Zero service, smelly rooms and tiny uncomfortable beds!"

Just left this hotel after staying 1 night and couldn't get away quick enough! Things didn't start out well when we arrived, the valet basically refused to park my car and asked me to move it myself, which I did but then all through the rest of our stay they deliberately avoided any eye contact with us for fear of being asked to do something! (One of them looked like he was reading a book on the valet stand!!) We also had lots of bags and we couldn't find anyone to help us with them, so we struggled to drag them all to our room on the second floor by ourselves. The rooms themselves were very old and parts were quite disgusting, for example the bathroom sink had cracks in, skirting wasn't attached to wall properly and the room had an overall smell of tobacco and stale urine. Very unpleasant stay and we couldn't wait to leave! The only thing going for this hotel is the location and it gets one star for that. It is directly opposite the entrance to the park, a genuine 5 minute stroll. After a long day at the park it was really nice to just pop over the road and be back at the hotel. It was also only $129 for the night which is a low price for a hotel so close to Disney, but clearly there's a reason it's that cheap and I wish I'd figured it out before booking! There are plenty of other places along the same strip opposite the park so my advice is to spend just a little bit more and stay elsewhere.
