"You won't be able to sleep due to noise"

You're considering this hotel? Keep scrolling on by. Don't be fooled by thinking this option is "good enough" and "what could go wrong?" I thought the same thing. When Park Vue was sold out (we needed a suite to fit 3 kids + two adults), I made a reservation here. Checked in at night and was immediately warned by the front desk (who looked a little bit afraid - foreshadowing) that "it might be a little loud, there's a band playing." No big deal, I've stayed in resorts in Mexico and Hawaii with a faint band playing in the distance. I'm not a wuss. I blew it off. Got to our room (4th floor) and the room was shaking with music. The bass was pounding through every square inch of the room. I swore it almost shook the TV. We went to dinner. Came back, just as bad. Front desk said they were "sold out" and I had prepaid so "no refunds, we're so sorry." My kids were finding it hard to fall asleep and kept saying the music was too loud. The toddler was crying. Front desk? Didn't care. We didn't have any other options at this point because it was 11 PM. I did not sleep until 1:30 in the morning, which was when the band stopped playing. Literally. Multiple phone calls to the front desk later, they admitted that multiple hotel guests had complained about the noise but there was nothing they could do. There was a charity band playing upstairs, but little did I care. They should have put their paying guests first, but they did not. Please be very careful to choose this hotel if you have children. There are rooms further back in the hotel that aren't as close to the noise, so maybe that would work for you? I see reviews from other people saying that it was quiet, but if you stay right under the rooftop bar, The Fifth, you're totally screwed and I guarantee you won't sleep at all. It's very laughable that they are right next to Disney, because most people traveling here have children. The hotel upon close inspection is very reminiscent of a Motel 6 with faded, worn everything. The website pictures are better than the reality. The pillows are really bad. I would obviously never stay here again. Also, previous reviews report free parking but it's actually $15/night.

When we first arrived we were delighted by the proximity to Disneyland, just a short walk. Once we found our way to our room....The disappointment set in, very small, very dark, broken chair, strange urine smelling oder, and very noisy air conditioner. Sometimes great location isn't everything, especially when there are so many great hotels to choose from.

"Close to Disneyland"

Stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Disneyland. It is only a 6 minute walk to the gates at Disney from hotel. We had one of the upgraded rooms and found it to be good. I'd say it's a solid 3 star room. Did not have any issues with noise but I always run the fan on continuous to help with that. The breakfast snack pack is a good touch if you trying to make it for park opening. You do have to pay for parking but that's California for you. I'm happy with staying here and would do it again.

"Good enough for Disneyland"

We have stayed at a handful of hotels on harbor dr. We like the location! As annual pass holders, it's easier than driving back down to San Diego and we can enjoy amenities. We stayed oct 30th and drove our car right up to our room... To our room Right next to the housekeeping laundry room on the first floor. We thought that would be a nuisance but it turned out not to be too bad... And the first floor access with the stroller and access to harbor drive was great and better than being tucked back in the back of the hotel. You are in the park 90% of the day and this was a comfortable, upgraded, clean spot to lay our heads for the night. I'll definitely stay here again.

We had a room with 4 Queen Beds, just recently updated. Downside is only one bathroom and a mirror shortage. We did mention this to the front desk and said they are working to add some more mirrors. Literally 1 block from front gate entrance of Disneyland and California Adventure. There is no coffee to be purchased on premises, just fyi.
