"Location, location, location and a young woman Daisy!"

We just stayed 7/24-25. I found the hotel just what I expected. Clean, comfortable and location location location! I have been staying at this hotel since it was the Saga Hotel back in the early 70's. I received a great price all due to a young lady Daisy! If you want to know what excellent customer service is she's the one you go to! I had booked months before and I said I was an Annual Passholder. At the time the young man was not able to help me. The day before we left Daisy called me and told me I was available for AP discount. She saved me a good chunk of change. She was pleasant, remembered my name and very helpful. Daisy even reminded me to come to the front desk and get my $16 deposit back! I can't wait to go back! I hope the manager reads this!

"Good access & decent staff - just avoid rooms beneath the bar / restaurant!"

The hotel's location is fantastic - just minutes from the entrance to Disneyland but unlike properties along S.Harbor Blvd, the wifi was intermittent, the parking often full and the noise from the hotel bar was quite something! We had been moved here due to access requirements. I needed and got a very good wheelchair accessible room and the staff were helpful in sorting this out for me. They also warned me about the noise and helped with the wonky wifi! The room was perfectly nice - in the main hotel, the rooms are more stylish than the motel style rooms on the property. Coffee maker and fridge were a nice touch. For the money, it delivered what we needed and as we were still jet lagged, the noise from the bar didn't keep us awake but if you're a light sleeper, avoid those particular rooms if you want to sleep pre midnight / 1 am at weekends.

"Remodel" didn't do much for me. The windows are so thin you can hear people walking by your room. The free wifi wasn't working. The carpets were dirty and I didn't want to walk on them barefoot. They no longer have a complimentary breakfast but instead give you a paper bag with a red apple, a water, a single granola bar and a cheese stick, then send you on your way. Of course, I try to keep in mind that the reason we are there is not for the accommodations, but rather to spend our entire waking time at Disneyland. That being said, we slept good and the air conditioner worked.

"Remodel didn't improve staff or interior of the rooms"

We've been staying there since it was the Saga Inn and the Ramada Main Gate. I don't think we will ever stay at the Grand Legacy again nor would I recommend it to my family and friends. The staff was rude and refused to honor our "early check in" request. Our room didn't get maid service 2 out of the 5 days we were there. (And we were out of the room from 8-4:30 everyday) Additionally, it's NOT Acceptable to charge hotel guests a fee to go up on the roof top (5th) to watch the fireworks. We were there on the 4th of July and the main reason we stayed there was to watch the fireworks from the roof. They had and event (which was sold out) so we couldn't go up anyway. We were NOT Happy! The 12 million dollar upgrade was not spent on the beds. Our King size bed was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever had there. However, I will give the Grand Legacy credit for the following: Great Location, good working air conditioner and fridge. Water pressure for the shower was also good. For the money we spent, I could have stayed at a much nicer hotel. We are planing a trip in October and May, but I doubt we will be staying at the Grand Legacy.

"Clean and comfortable"

The room is clean and comfortable. It is a good size for 4 people. Nothing fancy but a good place to rest after a long day at the park. No free breakfast but they give you a bag with a bottle of water, granola bar and apple in the morning (you pick up in a room near the pool). We did not bring a car so no experience with the parking. There is a pool but we did not use it either. It is located across from the Disney parks and is an easy walking distance. It is also close to a Jimboy's taco place, Denny's, and Ihop which we liked very much. It is very convenient to stay at this hotel.
