Stayed here for 4 nights for my boyfriend and my anniversary trip. Checked in at about 11:15am and got a room right away, which was very nice. The whole resort was very clean and housekeeping was good too. We were on the ground floor, right next to the street but couldn't hear any street noise. The resort is a 10-15 walk to the main gates of Disneyland with only 1 street to cross, great location. There is also a Walgreens and a CVS across the street to get the essentials like bottled water. The breakfast was decent to help start the mornings. I have 2 complaints the first was that the internet was awful and cut in and out a lot. The second was that we were in the second-thirdish room from the lobby and that side was noisy because there is tile in the the hallway and entry way, I used the throw pillows to muffle the noise at night.

Great location for the convention center, you can walk to it very easy....it's across the street and about a block away. Disneyland is behind the hotel..The restaurant and bar area is very comfortable. The free breakfast is nice with eggs, meat, potatoes , fruit, cereal, toast, English muffin, waffles, plus morning juices, coffee and milk ....enjoy...the pool area is nice but full of kids ! The rooms are a little small, but clean, beds are on the softer side. Coffee and tea in room, refrigerator and microwave too. It's very quiet also !

Wow! Excellent service, close to Disney, coffee shop across the street, 7 Eleven next door. The room was big, two queens, comfy beds, coffee maker, fridge, 2 tvs, kitchen table, couch. Breakfast in the am was lots of carbs but there was certainly enough food and lots of tables. Underground parking was a nice touch too. We will return!

I got a really good deal for 5 days in this hotel from my union. We had never stayed at the DPHS but the reviews were mostly positive and the location couldn't be beat. With that said, here are some things I liked and didn't like about the hotel. PROS: 1) Location. The hotel is right behind cars land and at most a 10 minute walk to Disneyland. It was also located on the same side of the street as Disneyland which was really nice because it eliminated one more crosswalk. 2) Free parking. We rented a car for two of the days we were there and the free parking was a very nice amenity. 3) Conveniently located car rental. National (and Avis?) were located right next door. That was really nice when picking up and returning the car. 4) Friendly staff. Everyone we dealt with was very friendly. 5) Suites have full kitchens. Our second room (467) had a full kitchen with a fridge, stove, microwave and dishes. CONS: 1) Horrible free breakfast. We have previously stayed at the Clarion and I was very impressed with their breakfast. I was expecting the DPHS to be similar but that was far from the case. The pre-made omelets looked like pancakes (I honestly thought they were pancakes at first), the biscuits and gravy were stale and looked suspicious enough for us not to try them, and there was little else except a few dry cereal options and a basket of apples. 2) No blackout curtains. The rooms all have shutters but no blackout curtains. Even with the shutters closed, sunlight was streaming into the room by 6am. We eventually ended up hanging the extra blanket over the shutters in order to block out more light. 3) Run away from room 225. We were originally told we were being upgraded to a suit and given room 225. Not only is it not a suite, it is worse than a regular room because it is cut up into different sections and the bathroom is dysfunctional. There is a tiny entry room immediately after you come in the door, which has a very large frosted window into the bedroom area. This frosted window acts as a giant night light because it captures all the light that streams in from the outside windows (again, with the shutters closed) and lights up the bedroom. There are no curtains or any way to block the light from the frosted window. Additionally, the bathroom is irregularly shaped and the hotel tried to fit an armoire in the back angled corner. This effectively made the far side of the armoire unusable because the door could not open all the way and therefore the draws couldn't open at all. OVERALL FEELINGS ABOUT OUR STAY: After our first night in room 225 and the horrible breakfast, I was ready to write off DPHS permanently and never return. Fortunately, they moved us to room 467 which was much better. I would stay here again (but only in a suite). I'm not sure I would recommend it to a friend though because the rooms are so iffy and the breakfast isn't good.

This was another shot in the dark booking. We didn't realize we were traveling over President's Day Long weekend and a lot of properties had been booked up already. We ended up in a King Room with a Kitchenette. We were so happy to have the Kitchenette because the complimentary warm breakfast was absolutely horrid! I wouldn't feed that to my dog. So a quick trip down the road to target for some groceries helped that. The location of the hotel is good! A CVS and Walgreens are right across the street. 711 is next door and a coffee shop is close too. The walk to Disneyland is about 10 mins. We found our room to be nice and clean. We were on the busy side of the street which was a little noisy but tolerable. The pool is in an inner courtyard surrounded by hotel rooms and pretty small. Also it's full of kids all the time. All in all though, we would stay here again.
