We stayed for a full week while we (2 adults, 2 4-yr olds) visited Disneyland. Check-in was easy, even as we arrived at about 11:00 pm. The front desk attendant and parking attendants were very friendly. We got lucky and were assigned a room on the first floor. The room was clean, but here are some observations: The bedding/comforter was very thin. I would've liked a heavier blanket. Fortunately the room had bunk beds so we took the blankets off those if the bunks weren't being used by the kids. The microwave was super old and had a hard time making popcorn. The outlets in the lamps between the beds couldn't hold plugs. Phone chargers and hair dryer plugs would fall out. The bathroom was impressive and looks to have been recently updated... looked really modern and clean. Always plenty of towels from the housekeepers, although the cleaning time was variable (sometimes they'd knock before we left in the morning, and sometimes we'd return from after lunch and the room hadn't been cleaned yet). The pool was clean and maintained every day. The noise from above us was noticeable, especially when things (assuming luggage and housekeeping carts?) were wheeled along the 2nd level walkway. Not much you can do about that, I guess. The wifi was super bad. It worked about 25% of the time for me. All in all, this was a very clean room, but needing some isolated attention. For those of you with strollers... we have a double stroller that we frequently let the kids fall asleep in so it was nice to be able to wheel them right into the room for a nap. If you're on the second floor, I saw several strollers parked around the office from people who couldn't get their strollers to their room (no elevator). So glad we had a first floor room. The breakfast was ok. Room was tiny, so don't plan to eat here... just grab something and take it to your room or on your walk. I had a chocolate donut every morning and my kids had toaster waffles. Del Sol: please spend like $40 and get a couple new toasters! (Use my resort fee :-)) There was usually a line to use the toaster (they only had one) and it took FOR-EV-ER to toast a waffle. The location was heavenly. With 4 yr olds, we went to Disney in the morning and easily waked back to the hotel for a nap every day after lunch, then we walked back to Disney to close down the park each night. The location made it easy to overlook any other hotel shortcomings. Thanks to TripAdvisor, I was aware of all the extra fees tacked onto the booked rate. For 7 days, we paid an extra $134 in fees which included parking ($11), safe fee and resort fee ($5.50), tax ($2.50)... about $19/day in additional costs to be prepared for (if you park here). I actually asked the front desk attendant to explain the resort fee and they laughed and said "it's for the extra convenience and services and... (tapering off)... I don't really know." I would stay here again if the price is right. So far I've stayed at Del Sol and the Howard Johnson up the street. The Howard Johnson was our favorite of the two, but the Del Sol was about $30/night cheaper, which added up over 7 days, so I think we made a good choice. Just get some new microwaves, fix those outlets, and get 2 new toasters and Del Sol will be on its way. Man, I miss our trip to Disneyland.

This was our 3 stay and once again we were happy. You can not beat the location. The rooms are basic motel rooms but beds are comfy after long park days. Rooms are large enough to be comfortable. There is a safe in the closet and the sink is outside the bathroom so you can get ready while someone else is showering. There also is a microwave and a small bar sized fridge in the room along with a coffee maker. A breakfast room is located close to the office and has basics. Toast, hard boiled eggs, cereal, donuts and apples and oranges. Juice as well as coffee and tea are also available. We just ran down and got coffee from there instead of making coffee in our room. Parking is tight and valet only. We didn’t park but the guys manning the valet were very friendly and helpful. Definitely will stay here again.

Let's be honest. The hotel is just OK. Bed is good, bathroom is good. Local is good. What really bother me, was the breakfast. Come on! It a 50 room's hotel, but you can't put more than 12 persons on the breakfast room! And the food is bellow average. That's why my 3 stars rate.

Right by the crosswalk to go to Disneyland. The rooms are your basic motel room, but enough space to move around and they were clean and comfortable. Friendly, helpful staff. Great price. Parking is a separate charge, but worth the small cost per day.

My sister and I stayed here on our last visit to Disneyland and we would probably stay again. It is located right across the street from the main entrance hub. The rooms were decent, they had a continental breakfast which was average, and the staff were friendly. Overall, we had no complaints.
