"Great location, just a 5 minutes walk to Disneyland"

After a few hours considering our options we choose to stay at the Fairfield Inn as it was well priced and just a short walk to Disneyland, which meant that we could come and go a few times during the day. Our room had everything that we needed, it was clean and tidy and the maid had always been when we returned in the afternoon. There are many places to eat within a short stroll. Would definitely stay here again for the convenience.

My wife and I decided to go to Disneyland, just the 2 of us...no KIDS. Since we are PLATINUM ELITE members (I stay at a Courtyard 3 days a week for work.....the last 2 years), we decided to use our points in order to enjoy our 5 days in Anaheim. We checked in on 7-17-2017 and my wife inquired about Breakfast and/or appetizers in the evening. In a rather short terse response she was told "Sorry, we don't offer that to our guests?". My wife stated that we are Platinum Elite....she said "No, we can't accommodate all our guests for breakfast, but if you want, you can buy the ON THE GO breakfast for $8.00" (which is like the complimentary breakfast that all the other Fairfields offer...not this one). So, we made it up to our room.......this was nothing more than a 8 story MOTEL with the rooms opening to a walkway and not a hallway. The AC's in all the rooms leak on the walkway and drip on the outside....so, you are walking through water....not bad, but to me, a little "cheesey". The rooms were nice and comfortable with plenty of pillows and space to move. The bathroom was a little small but livable. Within an hour, we had to call the front desk because our toilet was clogged.....no matter how long we waited for the paper to get waterlogged, it wouldn't go down. They sent a maintenance guy up with a plunger in a grocery bag....that took care of it...but it was getting sketchy towards the end of our trip...but luckily, no overflows. The TV was nice and huge and if you have NETFLIX, you can stream directly through the TV. The Internet service was ok......when we logged in, it killed our LTE 4G serevice (T-Mobile), but no big deal, we shut it off and were able to surf the net. On the last day while I was getting the car from the Vallet, my wife was checking out and went to fill up her water bottle (about 40oz.) with lemon water, a worker said "Sorry, you can't fill up your bottle"....my wife looked shocked and said "Really?.....you can't spare some water to someone that just stayed her and spent money at your hotel?".....he refused to let her. The one highlight was the vallet service. They got our car witnin 2 mins. and always offered a friendly smile and handshake. They aren't affiliated with Fairfield....maybe that is why they were good. My wife and I wanted to go to the gym in the AM and work out. The first day we got there, and it was filled with about 15 late teens/early 20's....there was no machines available....I know Fairfield can't control that, but, from the looks of the people in there, the guys where in there only to impress the girls in there as well. By time it cleared out, we were already on our way to Disneyland. The pool looked nice and was well maintained, only problem is, it was crowded with lots of kids which wasn't a big deal. The jacuzzi was stuffed to the limit with people and children. The wife and I didn't go to the pool which again, wasn't a big deal, but it would have been nice. If I would have known that the Courtyard by Marriott was next door, we would have booked there in a heartbeat. We had stayed at a Fairfield in Reno, NV the night before and it was a lot nicer....and came with a free breakfast and an item from the hotel store......this fairfield came with neither. It came across to me that it was a privilege for US to stay there and not an HONOR for them to serve us. Housekeeping workers were great and pleasant and nice!. To sum it up: If you just want a place to sleep and is close to Disneyland....then expect only that. This hotel wasn't any better than a Motel 6...and you pay more for this.

I reserved a 1 king bed and 1 sofa bed in that specific hotel because is across the street from Disneyland resort, when we arrived, the room was only 1 bed, NO sofa bed. I was traveling with my spouse a two children. So I asked staff member JOHN GERMANY DE, for a room with a sofa bed, he told me the hotel was all booked, and no sofa bed rooms were available. I explained to him, that we needed a room that could accommodate the four of us. That was the moment when he started with a very rude attitude, at the point that, when I tried to borrow the pen he had in his hand, he told me in a very threatening manner, that I should never try to grab something from him shouting "DON'T TOUCH ME, DON'T YOU EVER TOUCH ME". After seing that, I asked to speak with the manager, he answered "you're talking to him", so a ask to speak with somebody above him. He told me to wait, went behind a door, 5 minutes later came back and gave us a two queen bed room. We were pleased with the room, but we cannot say the same about staff member JOHN GERMANY DE.

"Across the street from Disneyland"

I wish I would have tried this hotel sooner. We come to Disneyland often, sometimes staying in a Disney property, sometimes in a nearby hotel. This was such a pleasant experience. Disneyland is just across the street - about the same distance you need to walk from Paradise Pier. It was clean and quiet. The valet service was fantastic. Very helpful, friendly staff. We stayed one night but parked there for two days and paid slightly less than the fee for the Disney parking structure. There is a Panera bread out front with a good and healthy breakfast selection. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed here on election week in Nov 16 for our visit to Disneyland. We found the rooms to be clean and adequately stocked. Our room was prepared daily by the housekeeping staff and I really can't think of a bad thing to say. They have a snack and meal counter located on the 3rd floor I think it was. The selections were adequate and reasonably priced. There was also a well supplied convenience shop in the lobby we frequented. All the staff was friendly and courteous in my limited interactions with them. We had a view room that overlooked Disneyland which was cool. The rooms on the other side overlook a parking lot that's less than mesmerizing. If the view is important you might keep that in mind. Our room had a Cars theme that was cute and helped remind us of our reason for staying. Overall it's a pleasant surprise at a reasonable price. We're booking again in September this year and will be pleased to return.
