We’ve used this hotel on two occasions for a Disneyland vacation. We love the queen kids suite with the adjoining room with a bunk bed for the kids. The breakfast isn’t free but it is tasty and there is plenty of room for families. The staff from the front desk, housekeeping, and food service are all polite and helpful. We will most likely return to the Courtyard Marriott if we have another Disneyland vacation.

"Great Choice on a Budget"

There are lots of hotels by Disneyland and lots of people choose the official Disney resorts, we've stayed in one before at Disney World, and honestly a low cost alternative like this hotel saves so much money. Even if you decide that the Disney resorts aren't worth it, there are scores of hotels claiming to give you lots of cool amenities like waterparks and Disney-themed rooms for cheaper, but those hotels are pretty overpriced also, ranging from 300 to 500, for most of them. This hotel checks almost all the boxes. We had an amazing experience here. When we arrived, we asked if an upgrade was possible, as we always do at hotels because you never know, and the staff member checked and didn't even really give us an answer just our room-keys, we than arrived to find a Disney-themed family suite that we had not booked, with a large bedroom, bathroom, and a separate mini-room with a pretty large living room area, bunk bed, and a TV, we weren't even charged an extra fee for this surprise upgrade, and it was in August, which is still a peak time for Disney area hotels. There is a Starbucks and a bistro with good prices downstairs, the lobby and all hotel areas are extremely clean, with modern decor that gives off a nice Disney vibe without being cheesy or over the top. The hotel was pretty quiet at night which is great for much-needed sleep when visiting the parks. The pool area is pretty decent, no frills or anything, but at it's busiest there were only a few other families there, and most of the day when we were at the pool we had it all to ourselves!! The distance from the park is the only box this hotel didn't check off for me, but it wasn't that big of a problem for us, it's about a twenty-minute walk, maybe twenty-five, at least for us it was. One night coming back from the park we took the wrong park exit and increased our walking time by ten minutes which was too long of a distance for us to walk after a really long day in the park, and it was almost midnight at this point, so we had to take a cab, it was very affordable, only fifteen dollars, so this wasn't really a big deal, but the distance might be a problem for families with smaller children, however if it's not an issue, stay here, walk a little more or take a shuttle, and save tons at a really great hotel.

Hotel is approx 1 mile away from the park entrance (not an issue for us, but want others to be aware.) Building appearance was updated and modern. Room looked stylish as well.. well except the outdated bathroom and shower. There were crumbs in the bed and it was clear housekeeping doesn’t change the sheets properly. The next morning we woke up with no water at all and we called the Front Desk regarding the plumbing. They were useless and seemed very much overwhelmed. Maybe they haven’t been trained properly? We requested a manager but we were told nobody was there on-site... How could a hotel have a severe maintenance issue and not have a manager there to assist??? We were told that we would get a phone call from the hotel manager when they came in, but as expected, they were just trying to brush us off since nobody called.

We loved this resort. You can walk to Disneyland in just a few minutes. The staff is extremely friendly. The room was spotless and I am super picky! They have a cool water park and lifeguard on duty. Starbucks is opened early and closed late in the hotel lobby. This is a gem to find so close to Disneyland!

"Quiet, clean and close enough to Disneyland"

We were on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool. Beautiful for watching the sun rise! Nice hotel. There was some noise around 9:30 every night from upstairs. They should probably make it a habit to put families with kids on the lower two floors. Also, there must have been some kind of a water damage issue in the past at some point, as there is a faint smell of mold at times. Staff were reasonably accommodative. Nice for a Disney stay.
