"What Better Place Than Warner Brothers"
July, 2016
My family and I visited California in June of 2016. It was our first time visiting the West Coast so we wanted to do everything possible. When I found the Warner Brothers tour I was beyond excited! And the tour sure exceeded my expectations. Our tour guide was so friendly and full of so much information about the different movies and shows that have occurred on their grounds. She showed us where shows such as The Fosters, 2 Broke Girls, and Full house were filmed and created. One of my absolute favorite parts was visiting the soundstage for the show Big Bang Theory. Words can't describe how happy I was to see where one of my favorite shows came to record.
Stage 48 was just the cherry on top. Visiting the friends stage and ACTUALLY SITTING ON THE FRIENDS SET was absolutely fantastic! They also featured some old time favorites such as ER and gave you the chance to hold an actual Grammy. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the LA area. It was the highlight of our trip. There was so much information and activities jammed into the tour that you were never bored. Hopefully next time we can visit Ellen and attend a live recording of Big Bang Theory!

"Fun & fascinating"

Our tour guide, Jillian, was energetic and very knowledgeable. All the behind-the-scenes stops were fascinating, and we loved the Harry Potter room - would have liked more than the short time we were allowed - lost a rating star because of that!

"Warner Bros Studio Tour"
June, 2016
We are a family of 4 (two being older teenagers). I wasn't exactly sure what day and time we would be able to do the tour but it was not a problem. I checked the website the night before and did not have a problem choosing the time I wanted and reserving our spot. We left in plenty of time to get there and were actually one of the first to arrive because traffic was not a problem at all. Everyone was very friendly and our tour guide was great! My favorite was getting to sit on the 'Friends' couch at Central Perk since that is my favorite show and I was in my 20s watching it when it ran on TV for the first time. A guy actually proposed to his girlfriend on the couch while we were next in line to sit on the couch! It was also cool to see the studio where Big Bang theory is taped. It is much smaller than you would think it would be. A lot of the tour is riding around which is nice then you get off and go inside different places. We all enjoyed the tour very much!

"Felt like a star!"
February, 2016
My family and I went to LA last weekend and decided to go to the WB studio tour and I'm so glad we did! What a great experience! We purchased our tickets on ReserveLosAngeles.com because we found they had the best price and the process was easy and most convenient. On the day of the tour we easily found the location due to the many helpful signs guiding us from the freeway to the parking lot. You could opt for free street parking or park in the WB lot for $7. After checking in we went into a small theater to view a short film of clips from the numerous iconic WB productions through the years.
Next the audience was divided into groups of 12 and assigned a guide. Our guide, Eiffron was super knowledgeable and his enthusiasm was contagious. What an exciting experience we embarked upon: touring behind the scenes where some of our absolute favorite movies and television shows were made. Once we boarded our motorized cart we were driven around the massive 110 acre lot full of back lots, front lots, the Prop Department and The Archive, all among outside sets that were easily recognizable. Along the way we even spotted parking spaces reserved for some of our favorite celebrities. I loved stepping inside The Prop Department (which holds over 450k items) trying to spot props from some of my favorite scenes in movies and tv shows.
Next we had a few minutes to roam the Picture Car Vault which housed the Batman cars, Bat Mobile, Bat Pod and the Bat Hammer. Then we headed to the Archive where we had the chance to get up close and personal with several Harry Potter and Batman costumes and artifacts. We even got to have our picture taken with Hogwart's hat which told us which house we were in.
We were then taken inside the sound stage of The Big Bang Theory, one of my favorite shows. We sat right where a live audience would sit during filming while Eiffron explained how the entire filming process unfolds over a five day period. Implanting ourselves in the actual studio with several moving parts truly shows how it all comes together through the magic of television.
Everything from the casting process to costume design to special effects are explained through interactive activities and videos inside the final stop, Studio 48. We sat on the famous Central Perk couch from the show Friends and had our picture taken to capture the once in a lifetime moment.
Since my 8 year old daughter is a little too young to know Friends, she was ecstatic to have her very own free green screen experience. She sat on props and acted out short scenes from the movies Harry Potter, Batman and Gravity. Videos and photographs of this were available for purchase.
Our family truly enjoyed our Behind The Scenes Tour and feel as though we got the true Hollywood experience. If you're undecided on this tour, go! You won't be disappointed. We're looking forward to our next adventure already!

This was a last minute additional to our fast weekend in LA but I am super happy we thought of it. Our tour was 3 hours filled with a lot of information and history along with tours of sets!! I watched Pretty Little Liars so getting to see building that were in the show was neat and of course, I've watched a few episodes to compare. Also getting to find out where famous movies have been filmed and to set current sets such Ellen's and Big Bang Theory was cool. Of course, getting to see some pieces such as costumes and cars from harry Potter and Batman was super cool. Again, this was a lot of fun and am super happy we did this!!!

"Interesting for movie buffs"

I’ve done the Universal Studios tour several times so decided to check out this tour. The Universal Studios tour is geared more to a general audience almost as a theme park attraction, whereas this tour is definitely geared to people who are movie buffs. No simulated earthquakes, fast & furious races and attacks by Bruce the shark here. You meet at the departure point, and are ferried around the front and back lot on a little bus with your own personal tour guide. Our guide was Matty, and he was a font of movie trivia and studio lore. Besides driving around the lots, you get to stop at one backlot and walk around the exterior sets, you get to go into an interior set (ours was the show The Fosters), go into the “bat cave” and see various batman vehicles, and finally walk through an exhibit of the movie making process with an opportunity to do some green screen action. Total time for the tour was about 2hrs. I’d recommend it if you are really interested in the history of movies and seeing how they are made.

"Shivani, Megan, and Tyler made this a memorable and unique experience"

From the get-go, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and very knowledgable. (FYI There is parking right across the street). Shivani greeted us at the entrance and was very enthusiastic, friendly, and patient with all of my questions about what to expect from the tour. Then, Megan also helped moved our tour up, because I arrived earlier than anticipated -- LA traffic is quite unpredictable! We also chatted about film trivia and other LA sights, such as Grauman's Chinese Theatre, which houses film costumes as well. She was very friendly as well. Tyler, the tour guide, to whom we were assigned, was also very knowledgable about the technical aspects of film -- and quite funny, making an interesting tour that much more enjoyable! He made the tour very enjoyable and remembered people's names as well as what film/TV shows they liked, which was quite a feat! There is a lot to see here, and you will get a sense of the hours, scope, and number of people it takes to actually make a film happen.

"Interesting journey to the past of entertainment"

It was interesting to drive around the studio and seeing the fake streets, houses, etc. The list of movies and shows filmed there is long, the tour guide will name them all but I can't help but feel that it's a relic of a time long behind us. It's a 100% organized tour along various outdoor filming locations, prop museum/rental place, lots of Batman/Superman/Harry Potter stuff and the Ellen soundstage. They wouldn't let me take a picture in front of a green screen and wanted $50 for a printout of a photo they took of us.
