"What Better Place Than Warner Brothers"
July, 2016
My family and I visited California in June of 2016. It was our first time visiting the West Coast so we wanted to do everything possible. When I found the Warner Brothers tour I was beyond excited! And the tour sure exceeded my expectations. Our tour guide was so friendly and full of so much information about the different movies and shows that have occurred on their grounds. She showed us where shows such as The Fosters, 2 Broke Girls, and Full house were filmed and created. One of my absolute favorite parts was visiting the soundstage for the show Big Bang Theory. Words can't describe how happy I was to see where one of my favorite shows came to record.
Stage 48 was just the cherry on top. Visiting the friends stage and ACTUALLY SITTING ON THE FRIENDS SET was absolutely fantastic! They also featured some old time favorites such as ER and gave you the chance to hold an actual Grammy. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the LA area. It was the highlight of our trip. There was so much information and activities jammed into the tour that you were never bored. Hopefully next time we can visit Ellen and attend a live recording of Big Bang Theory!
Tip: Make sure your phone is charged because there are lots of photo opportunities. Also, Tip your guide! They work very hard to make your time enjoyable.

"Fun & fascinating"

Our tour guide, Jillian, was energetic and very knowledgeable. All the behind-the-scenes stops were fascinating, and we loved the Harry Potter room - would have liked more than the short time we were allowed - lost a rating star because of that!

The Tour is the best Studio Tour in Hollywood . Our tour guide was the best knew everything and was so proud of his job . I want to go back and take my grandkids and friends. Very reasonably priced. I loved it.
Tip: Get there about 20 min before your time so you can check in. Buy your studio book at the end.

The four of us had a great time. Our guide was very informative. The museums were fun. Missed seeing more of older Warner Brother animation.
Tip: It was closer to three hours than two when you spend time in the final museum.

"Warner Bros Studio Tour"
June, 2016
We are a family of 4 (two being older teenagers). I wasn't exactly sure what day and time we would be able to do the tour but it was not a problem. I checked the website the night before and did not have a problem choosing the time I wanted and reserving our spot. We left in plenty of time to get there and were actually one of the first to arrive because traffic was not a problem at all. Everyone was very friendly and our tour guide was great! My favorite was getting to sit on the 'Friends' couch at Central Perk since that is my favorite show and I was in my 20s watching it when it ran on TV for the first time. A guy actually proposed to his girlfriend on the couch while we were next in line to sit on the couch! It was also cool to see the studio where Big Bang theory is taped. It is much smaller than you would think it would be. A lot of the tour is riding around which is nice then you get off and go inside different places. We all enjoyed the tour very much!

"Felt like a star!"
February, 2016
My family and I went to LA last weekend and decided to go to the WB studio tour and I'm so glad we did! What a great experience! We purchased our tickets on ReserveLosAngeles.com because we found they had the best price and the process was easy and most convenient. On the day of the tour we easily found the location due to the many helpful signs guiding us from the freeway to the parking lot. You could opt for free street parking or park in the WB lot for $7. After checking in we went into a small theater to view a short film of clips from the numerous iconic WB productions through the years.
Next the audience was divided into groups of 12 and assigned a guide. Our guide, Eiffron was super knowledgeable and his enthusiasm was contagious. What an exciting experience we embarked upon: touring behind the scenes where some of our absolute favorite movies and television shows were made. Once we boarded our motorized cart we were driven around the massive 110 acre lot full of back lots, front lots, the Prop Department and The Archive, all among outside sets that were easily recognizable. Along the way we even spotted parking spaces reserved for some of our favorite celebrities. I loved stepping inside The Prop Department (which holds over 450k items) trying to spot props from some of my favorite scenes in movies and tv shows.
Next we had a few minutes to roam the Picture Car Vault which housed the Batman cars, Bat Mobile, Bat Pod and the Bat Hammer. Then we headed to the Archive where we had the chance to get up close and personal with several Harry Potter and Batman costumes and artifacts. We even got to have our picture taken with Hogwart's hat which told us which house we were in.
We were then taken inside the sound stage of The Big Bang Theory, one of my favorite shows. We sat right where a live audience would sit during filming while Eiffron explained how the entire filming process unfolds over a five day period. Implanting ourselves in the actual studio with several moving parts truly shows how it all comes together through the magic of television.
Everything from the casting process to costume design to special effects are explained through interactive activities and videos inside the final stop, Studio 48. We sat on the famous Central Perk couch from the show Friends and had our picture taken to capture the once in a lifetime moment.
Since my 8 year old daughter is a little too young to know Friends, she was ecstatic to have her very own free green screen experience. She sat on props and acted out short scenes from the movies Harry Potter, Batman and Gravity. Videos and photographs of this were available for purchase.
Our family truly enjoyed our Behind The Scenes Tour and feel as though we got the true Hollywood experience. If you're undecided on this tour, go! You won't be disappointed. We're looking forward to our next adventure already!
Tip: Children must be 8 years old and not all areas can be photographed.

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour seeing the various locations and getting an insight into the workings of a studio. The prop store is very impressive, wish we could have gone deeper into it and the Batman vehicles awesome. Our only downside was that we knew none of the tv series made there as did most on our buggy which gave the guide a problem as this was obviously her field of expertise, however this only slightly detracted and seeing a set from a current soap and how it is scaled, lit and where the stairs really go, along with its back yard is making us look out for it on tv to compare. The final walk through section on the film making process is very informative.

Took a tour around Warner Brothers Studios looking at the sets and backdrops and learning about its history. Very interesting. Well organised also. About 15-20 people to a buggy - a kind of large golf cart is the best way I can describe it. Our guide was very well informed and full of anecdotes about the movie stars and sets. There's a part dedicated to Harry Potter which is excellent and and our teenager really enjoyed. All in all a great morning!

I loved everything about this tour! our tour guide was called Jaznee and she was so friendly and knowledgeable about productions! She answered all of my questions (there were a lot!!) i preffered WB studios to universal becuase at WB it was a proper studio tour where you learn about the shows you love and see where they are filmed! where as universal is pretty much just a theme park! We saw where they filmed shows such as: Pretty Little Liar, Friends and the big bang theory! at the end of the tour you can sit on the couch at central perk and get a photo which i think is a highlight for any FRIENDS fan! all in all great trip would 100% recommend and would even do it again myself!!

"Best Studio Tour!"

Our tour to the Warner Brothers Studios was the BEST studio tour of our L.A. trip--better than Paramount or Sony. Left our hotel at the Hilton early because you can never tell how traffic will be in L.A. Parking is easy and convenient at $10 across the street from the WB reception area. The waiting area is quite comfortable and you can purchase some refreshments if desired. There is a short film to watch before you break up into small groups of 10-12 people and ride in tram carts around the studio lot. Our guide was exceptionally polite and knowleadgeable. He volunteered to answer any questions and to help you take pictures. Our group consisted of a couple families with teenage girls who were really thrilled at seeing the sets of the Gilmore Girls and Pretty Little Liars. Unfortunately, my sister and I are much older and were hoping to see any memorabilia of older Warner Brothers TV productions. But it was still interesting to see and he made it very enjoyable. The Tour Archive had 2 floors of memorabilia of the DC comics such as Batman and the Suicide Squad. The 2nd Floor has items from the Harry Potter Movies. You can have your photo taken where the Sorting Hat determines which school you will be assigned--Griffindor and Slytherin. 3rd stop was at the Car Vault where you can take pictures of many of the Batmobiles such as the Tumbler, Bathammer and Bat-Pod. 4th stop was at the Prop Department where there are even more memorabilia to examine. Lastly, you take a self guided tour at Studio 48 where there are many exhibits and interactive games. There is also a photo opportunity at the "Friend's Central Perk" couch. So much to see and do! It is worth every penny! They have a really nice gift shop at the end. Great restaurants in the area too.

We took the tour on a Sunday morning because it was the only slot that worked for us, so the property was deserted with the exception of tour personnel and tourists, which would disappoint anyone hoping for a celebrity sighting. The upside was greater access, since there was no risk of interrupting filming. Many in our tour tram were excited to see the set of Pretty Little Liars. The photo we took on the "Friends" couch was a big hit back home. Loved seeing sets of city streets and town squares, as well as the Prop Warehouse and Batmobile collection. There's a definite promotional aspect: some of the more elaborate exhibits were dedicated to "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" and "Suicide Squad" while I would have liked more background on WB's long collaboration with Clint Eastwood and/or film classics such as Casablanca. Still, there was a lot to love, including a terrific demo of the importance of distinct elements of sound such as music, dialog, sound effects, and ambient audio. They used a single clip from "Gravity" to show how each layer of audio added to a more powerful experience in the theater. Overall great tour and well worth the $62 price of admission.
