"Must Go Place"
November, 2018
I went to Seaworld in November 2018. I had been especially looking forward to visiting Seaworld and I was not disappointed! We managed to see 90% of the displays and attractions at Seaworld in 1 day, it was very well laid out and the maps were clear and easy to follow so you could find your way to the right area. There was a great combination of things to do from feeding the sealions and watching the penguins waddle around (in their enclosure with real snow!!) to riding the rollercoasters and of course seeing the dolphin displays and Orka, it was also great to the see the huge manatees. I would recommend Seaworld to any san diego Visitor.

The staff was kind and helpful. The animals were beautiful. The learning opportunities were great! The shows were cut down and customized to better fit the animal needs. Overall a must experience for all to enjoy.

We bought the Go San Diego cards and saved a bit on admissions at this attraction. I would highly recommend using the card if you plan to see more than one attraction in San Diego. The ticket we got to sea world allowed us to use the park for 7 days for the price of one. We took 2 days to see the park and enjoy all the shows. Get to sea world early, you can see the animals being fed their morning breakfast and it’s so peaceful without the crowd! Also you can get up close , get great pictures and the kids will love watching the animals being fed. Parking is expensive, it’s $22 a day. If you plan well and get an early start you could do the park in a day. Get the map for the park and make a note of all the shows you want to see. Get to the shows at least 30 mins before if it is a crowded day to get good seats. Don’t miss the shows, they are really well done and kids will enjoy watching them too ! The rides get busy as well, try finishing the popular rides first thing in the morning, wait times can be an hour or more later in the day. Food is expensive at the park, you can bring your own from outside if you wish. Also keep a change of clothes handy for all, some rides can get you wet and some shows when you sit up close can get you wet as well ( the animals splash !). The sky ride and the gondola rides are extra, $5 a person. Also any animal experience, touching them, feeding them etc are also extra. The park admission is steep and I feel they could include a bit more work the price, for example parking ! But all in all a great experience.

This is the first time we wen t o this Seaworld. We had a great time but it is a little smaller it seems than the Orlando location. But how could we miss the opportunity to try a new location. Park was not very crowded and VIP parking was great also!

"Fun day!"

Visited yesterday and had a great day. It was not very busy. We really enjoyed the shows and the interactive areas. $22 is quite a bit for parking after spending $100 on a ticket. Food was a bit pricey too but I have to say the waffle fries were good! The shows were really well done and the people in them were quite entertaining. We all loved Biff...I hope he gets discovered and makes it big!!!! Loved riding in the sky tower. It gave us a great view of the park. It was around sunset and we were able to get great pictures! Oh, and we also saw a proposal during the sea lion show!

Our group of roughly 30 Dad / Child pairs just attended the Sea World overnight experience. This is where you get to sleep at Sea World (inside one of the exhibits), with dinner included, and they give you a behind the scenes interactive tour of various exhibits. My daughter and I (as well as the rest of the group as far as I could tell) absolutely loved it! Really special. -It’s educational. -The staff is well organized, responsible, and informative. -Its FUN. Our group slept in the Turtle Reef exhibit. Waking up to see gigantic sea turtles and fish swimming next to you...pretty darn cool. Then, the next morning you’re at Sea World before anyone else arrives. And you get to spend the entire day at Sea World. We really REALLY enjoyed it. And, again, I was super impressed with the staff. Wanted to recognize everyone involved. A+ operation. Thanks!
