I didn't expect to have so much fun - but I did! We took our family there to celebrate our grandchildren's birthdays. It was priced really fair and there's a ton of different stuff to do. We got there early and rode rides then went to the see the Legos and to the Aquarium. It was a great time I will always cherish. Next time we'll stay another day and go to the waterpark too.

Description

from LEGOLAND® California Resort
New this Summer!
On your mark, get wet, go! The LEGOLAND® Water Park is getting bigger. And wetter. And faster! Surfers’ Cove is all-new for Summer 2017 and it’s the place to race. Show your speed as you race against the clock on Riptide Racers, our newest timed water slides. Race down the slides with your family and friends to see who really is the quickest. But slides aren’t the only place to make a splash. Whatever your age, you’ll have fun at Wipeout Lagoon, the epic splash zone with fountains that shoot up to the sky! And if you’re looking for a place to relax, you’ve got it made in the shade with plenty of seating and even cabanas available for rent. Whether it’s building your own raft and floating down a not-so-lazy river or discovering the awe-inspiring Lion Temple Wave Pool, the LEGOLAND Water Park is ten million gallons of fun.

We know all of that splashing and racing can work up a humongous appetite. Fortunately, Beach Street Tacos is ready with yum-diggity grub for the grommets and grownups.
LEGOLAND® California Resort has more than 60 rides, shows, and attractions including the exciting LEGO®NINJAGO® World! Ninja practice at special training areas to become masters of the ancient art of Spinjitzu. All that training gets put to the test on the stunning new LEGO NINJAGO The Ride. This interactive, cutting-edge, technological marvel allows riders to control animated fireballs, lightning, shockwaves, and ice. Harness the power of the elements to defeat the Great Devourer and collect points for ultimate ninja status! Inside LEGOLAND, you can enter a world of knights and princesses to conquer the Dragon Coaster. Kids can drive their very own cars at Driving School. Make new friends at LEGO Friends Heartlake City. The Resort is also home to LEGOLAND Water Park featuring fun slides and a lazy river where you can build your own LEGO themed raft.

There’s so much to do, you’ll want to spend the night. The amazing LEGOLAND Hotel has 250 rooms and it’s packed with LEGO® features, décor and themed rooms. Including the NEW LEGO NINJAGO® themed hotel rooms!

LEGOLAND California is open daily spring and summer and closed select Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the fall and winter.

This is our second time staying at the Legoland Hotel. Other than our room not being ready, despite having reservations months in advance, we didn't have any problems with our room.

"Gets Better Every Year!"

This is our second visit to Legoland plus the Water Park and I have to say, it gets better every year. My kids (7 and 12) love the rides and spent a whole day at the Water Park. I do HIGHLY recommend that if you plan on spending time at the Water Park, invest in the cabana rentals offered. Best decision ever! Food is brought to you and a shady, comfortable place is guaranteed PLUS a front of line pass to very popular water attractions! Will definitely be back next summer!

"Thank you to employee"

I just wanted to write to thank a specific employee, we really appreciated Starr who was working several of the carnival games. We had quite an ordeal trying to win a second prize at the ball toss/colored cup game and the previous worker was helpful but not overly friendly or helpful. However, once Starr came on the shift to relieve the previous employee for a break, she was extremely helpful, friendly and compassionate. We really appreciated her helpful attitude. Fortunately, we also ran into her later in the day at the ladder climb and once again she was super helpful, personable, and friendly. Please give her our commendation, she is doing an excellent job!!

"Far superior than LEGOLAND Florida"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5
Reviewed July 26, 2017 NEW
Spent about 6 hours there. They charge $18 for regular parking and $25 for close in parking. We just did the regular parking. Since arrived right before 10 am, we were able to park across the street from the close in parking. The kids had a great time. Fortunately, they weren't really into the rides as we had been to the park in Florida a couple years before. We went thru the park quickly and then headed to the water park. The waterpark was nothing spectacular but was high quality. It was very crowded. The kids loved the wave pool. Lines were too bad. Go early if you want to find a chair in the shade. The attitude of the employees and upkeep of this park is far superior to LEGOLAND Florida. We had a pretty terrible customer service experience in Florida that resulted in us wasting almost 3 hours of time trying to recover a hat that feel in the water. Also, many of the FL employees seemed to not want to be there. CA was entirely different. It was much like the great attitudes and experience we've had a Disney parks. I will never go back to LEGOLAND FL but I would go back to the LEGOLAND CA.

Using a 3 day pass, Day 1 we hit Legoland enjoying most of the rides and building Lego boats. The Burger Stop, was so slow, we were disappointed at the wait and lack of hot food. Day 2 we went to the water park and had a blast, getting soaked until the wave pool was closed for a unknown reason. The restaurant by the wave pool had a terrible bee problem at the counter and Pepsi dispensers. Day 3 we skipped the Aquarium visit to avoid the $18 parking fee just for the 2 hours we had free to visit before heading home.
